Description
Indulge in the sweet and gooey goodness of homemade blondies with this step-by-step guide to making the best blondie recipe ever!
If you’re a fan of rich, buttery desserts with a hint of caramel flavor, then blondies are the perfect treat for you. These delicious blondies are made with ingredients commonly found in most kitchens and are a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth. In this article, we will walk you through the steps on how to make the best blondie recipe that will leave your taste buds craving for more.
Also I give you a tip in making these blondies perfect in the middle. My family members always fought over the outside edged ones, where they have that delicious chewy outside texture but the soft inside. Thank goodness I came up with this hack because I now have peace… and trust me there is nothing better than peace, blondie and a mug of tea!
These blondie brownies also make a nice pudding when slightly warm, with ice cream or even custard. So I have a feeling that these will make a versatile sweet treat in your home.
Ingredients
- 90g Melted Butter
- 160g Light Soft Brown Sugar
- 90g Caster Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 130g Plain Flour
- 100g White chocolate chips (Or milk chocolate chips of you prefer)
- Optional dusting of icing sugar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees centigrade fan, and line a square baking tin.
In a bowl place your melted butter, light soft brown sugar, caster sugar and mix round to combine. Then add in your vanilla extract and eggs and mix again for a few seconds. Then add in your flour and mix well. Finally add in your chocolate chips and stir and fold in.
Pour into the lined baking tin.
Cook for around 35 minutes. They should be slightly gooey still in the middle. That’s how we like them. However, like the narrative and description above, some of my family fight for the ones around the outside because they “like the chewy edge” (their description not mine). So to deal with this family issue, I slice the brownie into segments once it has cooled for a few moments. Then I take the inner few squares (usually around 4-5) and then pop them on the baking sheet and back into the oven for a further 5-10 minutes. I then place them on the wire rack to cool with the others and then once cooled I dust them with icing sugar. I also at the point guard my kitchen, because the family hover about trying to take them before they have cooled properly.
